Great pub atmosphere with very nice, and abundant outdoor seating. Some bartenders are nice, some not so much. Don’t get the cocktails though 🫠

Visited this past weekend for the first time, really friendly staff and service from Lily who took our orders. Great food and reasonable prices, will defo visit again next time I’m in the area!

Bustling busy pub, had to wait for a table for a little while. Really friendly staff and great food before our trip to the theatre!

Came in a bit unaware of what to expect drink & food wise but had everything explained to me by lovely Lily behind the bar, which helped us so much! Lovely venue, lovely atmosphere & lovely staff. What more could you ask for!

Such a great place with a pleasant atmosphere. Enjoyed my time here and would absolutely come again. The food was lovely. We were served by Lily , a lovely, welcoming and smiley girl whose service was much appreciated, so a big thanks to Lily and the rest of the staff for such a pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend.

Always lovely staff, despite changing frequently (good training maybe). Our go to pub in Angel after the Nags Head became that nasty "Beat One" cocktail bar over the road. One star off due to large increases in prices over that last year - someones being greedy. Bring back the happy hour!
Edit: who makes the prices? Greene King? 5 stars for the staff and lovely traditional pub.
